So I forgot. Good thing I planned it for the same time I drop Parker off in the morning. The teacher looked at me and said in a very serious voice so you really for our meeting. That was scary in itself because she is so sweet and never really serious...Oh is that today. Well she thinks Parker is doing great...me too. The last few weeks Ive felt like I am falling in love with him all over again. Last night we laid in bed together, stared at the moon and sang. I'm lovin 3.

The best news was that they want to move him to the older class in January and to Monday-Wednesdays so he will be with his best friend who is also moving up. I think on their part it is about money and the waiting list but he is ready and Im totally willing to take advantage.

He ate 3 tootsie pops and had just about lost his mind. I was getting him ourt of his car seat and i told him to bend his arm and he shot it straight out and it locked. His body continued to do the oppsi te of everything he wanted it to do for about an hour.

We tryed to trick or treat Gunk at the hotel but they wouldnt give us his room number. The woman at the desk called up and told him he had an urgent fax. Dustin, mom and I stood around the corner and Parker stood outside the elevator door. Gunk walked out looked at Parker and said hi kept walking looked at us kept walking then looked at us agian and realized who we were...Good stuff.

I dont remember the last time I peed alone. Parker wandered in to the bathroom yesterday. I was unrapping a tampon...He say What are you doing? I was totally caught off guard. I think we are all aware of the obvious questions but I just didnt even think about this one. After Miles was born I think I assumed I wouldn't have to explain that part. I stumbled through "Ummmm going to the bathroom?." He seemed ok with this answer and wandered back out again.

I know hes only 3 now and that is probably as much as he needed to know, the rest would go over his head. But what do I say when he is older....HELP!

My laundry list of recent events, rants and responses.

I found Beth...Well she found me. Muggs you should blame you addiction to My Space on Dustin and Beth. Dustin has been begging me for months to get a myspace account so that I can chat with him at work...which by the way doesnt work. But anyway I have put up quite a good resisance if I do say so myself but then Sara Elizabeth had to try to find me and Dustin wouldnt let me use his myspace account to talk to her so now i have one. www.myspace.com/spazmolotic if you want to check it out. So now i am obsessed and although I really should be cleaning I am going to spend my afternoon trying to set it up.

Babies stop sleeping when they turn 3 mo. I remember now why I never got anything done when Parker was a baby.

Parker is done with Speech therapy...They said his speech is great better than average pronuncitation and vocabulary but we need to work on his daily living skills. He was bordering on Failing apperantly...Tell me this how can you judge a childs living skills by spending an hour with them...Best I can tell this is all based on the fact that he doesnt dress himself of wash his own face. I'm a bit defensive about this...Speech therapy was one thing but I think Ive got a damn smart kid...who cares if he wants to pull up his pants...they should have a separate Daily Skills test for boys and girls. GRRRRRRR.

I am making Parker a Thomas the Tank Engine Cake for his birthday. Mercedes said this isnt nessassary but she didnt have my mother when she was little. There are 2 things I felt very pressured about doing as well as my mother. Naming my children cool fun names and making kick ass birthday cakes.

Copper likes to dig in her water bowl too. Parker Calls her Fox Puppy.

Parker gave himself a black eye on Sunday. He tried to jump from the Futon into the playpen, missed and hit the corner of the coffee table. Dustin got him calmed down and went to get and ice pack and when he cam back parker was laying perfectly still on his back staring at the ceiling. Dustin called him and he didnt answer so his started poking him in the face and yelling Parker Parker after about 10 seconds aprker looks at him and says Daddy Stop it in a very annoyed voice. I think Dustin almost had a heart attack.

I hope my monkey is as entertaining as you would have hoped.

Oh yeah thats right...My cousin Danny ROCKS! He played with Rilo Kiley on Sunday at ACL and was able to score some comps for Dustin and I. Needless to say I am burnt and put on muchos amounts of sunscreen and Dustin is not and he didn't use a drop. We were able to grab a couple of seats under a mister so it made the 108 weather seem at least bearable. By the way Rilo Kiley was awesome. I know I told so of you I didnt like it when they were in town a few months back...it must have been the sound that night.

For those of you that asked Danny plays the trumpet...just dont ask me his last name.

Cabin Fever

I have left the house twice this week. Both times with Richard. I think its some sort of pay off like if im less stressed Dustin is less stressed so Richard has to listen to less boring stories about how Im stressed and this is making Dustin stressed. But on the flip side they both quit smoking (YIPEE) on Saturday and Im stuck with them because I HAVE NO KEYS!

I have however restored my house to its natural state of semi disaster from full scale explosion by putting everything I dont need in the car for when I do find the elusive ones.

I had about 10 more things I want to write about but now Im thinking about the keys again so Im gonna go back to looking for a bit.

No really I have. They are gone. My only car key was on there. I will be staying home for the rest of my life as I dont know how to drive Dustins car. I will have to send him to the grocery store. This is a scary thought. Do you ever have one of those days where you kick yourself for being lazy. To make matters worse I have boxes in my living room for the yard sale so god knows whats happened to them.

Its all my moms fault. First she gave me her chalk board which i put up in place of the crappy old dry erase board I have. The problem with this is that it has hooks that i put my keys on so little fingers dont steal them. Now they are gone. Then Tuesday I go to a home show with my mom about magnets (really cool stuff but I felt like i was in the middle of an infomercial) anyway when we get back i think I threw them on the coffee table and now they have walked away. See how by some sort of backward logic this is her fault...ok fine its mine...

Ok last resort...the trash.

Garage Sales Suck!

Yes. Yes. they do. We were up til 2 putting stuff together and then up at 6:45 to set it all out on the lawn. It was hot and sticky and exahsting and we only made $100.

Im a glutton for punishment though because we are gonna do it agin next Saturday. I figure we've already put everything together so why not. Rain on Friday would be helpful. So if anyone has an in with Mother Nature could you put a nice word in for me!

On the brighter side when I was putting Parker down tonight he said "Goodnight, love you sweetie." Im a puddle.

For those of you interested in organic and natural foods, my mom sent me some info and I thought I would pass it along.

OK here is an interesting fact! I've seen this in several places while doing some research on products today and have found nothing to contradict it. I found this on whole foods site. "Note: Federal law does not allow the use of supplemental growth hormones in any poultry or pigs sold in the United States."

The reason is because it doesn't work to increase size or production...or they probably would.

It's all just marketing!

This means chicken isn't "mystery meat" after all. At least as far as hormones go. There is the antibiotic factor which is still better for the kids to do without. Interestingly, neither is pork (although for the kids the nitrate free stuff is much preferred)
Honestly though, the chicken I get at whole foods does taste better, is usually LARGER and does not have all those other bad things like antibiotics and I'll probably still buy it but when I can get Foster Farms (which btw advertises no hormones and that's what started this research) at half the price at Costco.....thoughts?

So I have set about trying to please myself by cleaning out my house and having a garage sale I've just found to many ways to ignore the chaos that is my house.

Prime example: I will start a Live Journal. This site is impossible to navigate so its taking me forever. I may have to let you do the rest of it Mercedes I am appaerently inept. Also I have to go back a read everything that ya'll have written. And then comment on it to Dustin and then give him a hard time for not cleaning. I have somehow convinced myself that since this was on my agenda for someday I am actually acomplishing something. Although it will probably be my only entry till the nex time I need to ignore more important things.

Ok a real entry.

Miles is moving a mile a minute(hee hee punny). He rolled over a few days ago and yesterday he started inching across the futon. Im convinced next week he will be reciting Shakespeare. We laid the Puppy(any name suggestions? Shadow?) next to him and they are the same size now. Ok now I want to put a picture how do i do that??? Well you get the idea someone will show me later...hint hint...We kept the brown shy one. Its funny she has the same temperment as Crackers. We thought she acted that way because she was abused but I guess its just how Heelers are.

Anyway I really should get something done. Dustin is feeling motivated.
